Thanks for the vote of confidence re: Dramione kids. As much as I love Dramione, I probably would hate having to read about them having picture perfect kids.

The idea of Mr. Granger's letter came from RL--an aunt had moved to a different country and met someone there who asked her to marry him. He wrote a letter to my grandpa asking him for her hand in marriage. My aunt didn't know about that letter (and grandpa's response) until years later, after my uncle passed away. It's one of the sweetest "love letters" I've seen.

OMG! That was so .. great. I rarely ever read a fic that deals with an older D/Hr and Hermione's estrangment with her family. You did a good job.

Stories tend to take over and then you wonder where you are or where it's going. lol. and then all that planning (mine) just goes down the drain. bye bye.

If you decide to continue this (revise, extend, or write more chapters) I would have liked to see Hermione's reaction. I think it would have been more appropriate and more touching if she read it in her old room, sitting in her old bed, surrounded by artefacts of her Muggle life, y'know. That would have been really powerful. :)

Thanks for reading and your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I love this 'ship so much, but when I do get the desire and time to write, I tend to gravitate towards post-Hogwarts, older and married Dramione mainly because there are so many other Hogwarts-based D/Hr stories out there. I don't have the confidence to write one when they're in Hogwarts, because invariably, someone else has already written it.

Thanks for your suggestion re: Hermione reading the letter in her Muggle home. I am going to revise this story before i archive it elsewhere.

I throughly enjoyed this fic. It is great to see a fic that deals with D/Hr in such a realistic way and yes i have to agree with the statement made about the children. It made me even love it more when I read your comments upon that this was based upon something that happend in RL. I think that sometimes using RL scenarios can really help a fic and it certainly did with yours.

Thanks for reading and commenting! I was unsure if the children part were really necessary for the crux of the story *shrug* I'm glad everyone who's reviewed has said they liked them.
