Star Wars.

Last night my parents were out of town. So, naturally, I carefully planned to watch something delightfully inappropriate and distinctly homosexual and, of course, make comments doubly so through the entire thing. I ended up watching, I wish I were kidding (this is a lie), the Original Trilogy Star Wars DVDs, which I borrowed from Beb on sudden ( Read more... )

I was linked to your entry by a friend, presumably because she knows that Star Wars is a part of my soul.

This is gorgeous! I cannot add anything to it :)

It's nearly May- perhaps time for a Marathon.

Thank-you for sharing! xXx

♥♥♥ You have no idea how happy I am that someone else with Star Wars as a part of their very soul loves this post too. Thank you for telling me!

Last year I finally achieved the dream of having a Star Wars birthday party/marathon. ... I am looking forward to this year's SO MUCH, and I don't think I'll ever be able to do anything else for my party, now. ♥~~~ In other words, YOU SHOULD TOTALLY DO IT.

Lol- you're very welcome but again- thank-you for putting this into words :D

Your marathon sounds epic- will definitely be on the cards. I have a housemate who is also owned a little bit by the saga. We'll get it done :D I'll have to keep checking back to se ehow you get on.

Say- what are your thoughts on the prequals now that many years have passed (in this galaxy not far away at all)? xXx

It's an amazing feeling, watching them all, especially the first time. ♥ When I wrote this entry I hadn't seen any of them for years and years (not since I was still Luke Skywalker every recess period), and it had been on the craziest whim that I asked a friend, at 11-something on a rainy night, if I could run to her house and get them.

lolol uh what prequels? Uh, for the most part, that's actually pretty much my attitude - with the exception of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, I pretty much count them like fanfiction (or, actually, less than some fanfiction I read, which I accept like canon). I don't hate them, uh, I just don't really care. :D

It's been about a year since I've watched the original trilogy when it was once such an integral part of my life. Though it's been so long, I completely understand all the love you've mentioned here. It's still with me; I've just never been able to spit it all out.

This made my night.

OH NO I NEVER REPLIED TO YOU, I'M SO SORRY. D:

The ForceStar Wars will be with you, always. *_* It's just that kind of thing -- if you fall for it, oh, you can forget for 10 years and then... I just had another Star Wars birthday party, marathoning the OT, and ngh. I still giggle and sigh and get all teary over everything.

Very, very glad to have made your night and have tickled you pink. :)
