(no subject)
Quick update time I guess!
My orthodontist made me cry yesterday and it was awful. To sum it up, I casually asked him when I'd be getting my braces off (or rather just for a rough estimate) and he went off on me. He just said things like, "it's pointless when people ask that question", "I'm not trying to delay the process, I'm doing all I can", and "I can get you a form to get them taken off whenever you want" in a very hurtful, insensitive manner. I had NEVER, ever asked him before about any sort of projected date for their removal. So I went to my car and cried for a little while and ranted to Kevin and my mom, and I'm going to write him a letter explaining how hurtful that was, etc. It's been a long, long time since someone's hurt my feelings like that, and hell, it was from my ORTHODONTIST. I deserve to know what's going on in MY mouth. (& I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt--hopefully he was just having an off day.)
Up at Kevin's right now. I love being here. I love Kevin, I love Steve, and I love the area. It's just a very comfortable, fun place to be.
Going to hang out with Tanya today, probably see a movie and just do girly things. I love her I love her I love her. And Charlie too. I don't really emphasize how much their friendship means to me, but good lord it means a lot. They're great people.
Finishing Christmas shopping/stuff today & probably getting my Christmas present from my mom. Hoorah!
Probably going to Vegas in January. How exciting! That'll be .. the FIFTH state I've ever visited! It should be fun--just have to make sure I'll have the proper funds (though I'm sure if I reallyreallyreallyreally needed to I could borrow some cash money, <3 rich boyfriends ;) ;) ;))---I really want to go visit Eugene soon. I miss you Scotty and Angelo and Meredith and Mendel and Tyler and you others. And maybe a canada trip is in order as well.
I went and visited Gamestop and the last two people who I worked with had quit like, six months ago. That makes me really sad. I'm kind of friends with the manager there already through DDR & Dustin, and he said he might need to hire someone, so I gave him my number and that'd be neat to have a consistant part time job. Oh lord, video games. I am such a nerd.
JAMES!! (crackoon not canada)--do you want to go to Acme sometime this/next week? I want to go, but it'd be fun to hang out with someone there. & maybe JERRAD you would go too. :>
Reflecting back on this entry, I used the word "I" a lot. Does anyone know why it's proper in English to capitalize "I" when used in a sentence? Why don't we capitalize "A" as well? Is it because I would technically be a proper noun?? I don't know!
