Clearly the first anonymous commenter did not get enough of your attention at one time or another. :)
Drive, Daniel. You need it, I need it. We both need it. Neither one of us has enough of it, and without it we are only what we believe ourselves to be. You know what I mean? "Excellence isn't an act, then, but a habit," and habits (and acts, for that matter) require doing something. Living only to satisfy short-term wants may be fun as all hell for a while, but I'd rather my mid-life crisis be only a silly, passing thing.

Daniel, I've got nothing, but I admire you for trying.
