I have a fic series called Three Red Balls. It's humor/crack and there's an fic in it called Nine Red Apples where Charlie shows up at Colby's apartment.

Now that I think about it, the Not the Only One Series first fic Not the Only One starts out similarly as well - Charlie going over to Colby's apartment. Hmm... /grins/ (That one's *not* humor though.)
