Ahh, Munich. I'm writing this on the train out, because while I was actually in Munich, there was pretty much no chance of bringing myself to sit down and write stuff, not when there was perfectly

Yeah, it's gorgeous. September/October is the time to go if you are up for, say, The Oktoberfest, but it's ridiculously overcrowded then. Good rite of passage, though.

Hey Dad! Got heaps of clear photos of Salzburg. They'll be up sometime soon, sadly we passed through without getting any Sachertorte, but did get some Mozartskugeln!

I find 'Huw' really hard to read, let alone say.

Somehow I don't think Huw's going to change his name for the sake of an anonymous Livejournal comment. It sounds like "Hugh", except that's the shonky English knock-off of the original Welsh name.

Could you refer to him by some other name? Like 'Reed Forbes' perhaps?

How about "Lead-Admiral Trilby"? Or "Lord Elsington Nibblick Worthingtonsquire"? I think I will leave his name alone, it will be far too much work to type Worthingtonsquire every time I want to refer to Huw.
