Wow. In calculus today, all five people missed four problems on the test. exactly.

There's four problems on the test total. Luckily, natalie curved it:P

Jim's test, however, was unusually complex, and he did not give us the resources he had previously for other tests (not to mention I forgot my book at home).

yes. I got an A. which is ironic, because we all got ZEROES!

and as far as i know you can't divide anything by zero.

No wonder you're failing calc.
Numbers over 0 are 'undefined' on your calculator, but signify infinity in calculus (as graphing it would give you a perpindicular line). But I'm in calc II, so maybe you'll find out in the future.

its still not technically dividing by zero. Dividing by zero is a theoretical. If you reverse the process, that is,, multiply zetro by infinity, will you get the same number that you initially divided by zero to get "infinity"?
