Thrilled that we voted a black man in, and yet enraged that a large state voted to remove a civil right and oppress a minority.

I was in hopes that as blacks began to close a chapter on their own oppression that they would be charitable to others that suffered at the hands of religious oppression.

Sadly they participated in this awful, painful hatred instead.

It diminishes Obama's win in my opinion.
