you should get gerbils! they're cute! and furry! and they don't take up much space or anything. very low maintenece and stable in their cute furriness. :)

You should get a puppy. Or rats. Rats are the coolest...they're like mini dogs. Good pets, rats. I had a bunch when I lived at home. :)

Don't get a beta fish. They aren't very cuddly, and are apt to die on you over school breaks just when you've gotten attached to their names.
