[ So, thanks to that pesky injury of his, Izaya's been relatively out of commission and out of sight. He didn't want to come out until he learned far, far more about the people here, but after that wonderful draft list (with some very interesting names on it) he's decided to go ahead and linger around the town for a while.

[ The coat he very gleefully pried away from Noel Vermillion's hands, at that. So if he's in a particularly upbeat mood after strolling out of the clothing store, that's why. And, unfortunately, it's that amount of glee and smarm that should cement the fact that he's real and not illusion. Thanks for thinking of him on Halloween, by the way. He'd be very eager to hear about that if you want to go into it some more.

If his general air wasn't enough of a telltale, his next act probably will be, and said act is: looking at Masaomi. The problem with being in the square when somebody leaves a store is that you're most likely going to be spotted. Izaya isn't the type to be shy about somebody catching his eye either.

Have a very obvious wave in your direction, Masaomi. How will you retaliate? ]

[His eyes get a little wider and he's torn between two reactions - going to punch him in the face to see if it's not an illusion, or fleeing immediately. Really, the second one wins out because there is only so much a person can handle in these circumstances. Thus, he's going to try to turn ion his heel and walk away. Fortunately, he's across the square from Izaya, so this might work]

[Noel happened to be in the clothing store, sorting through a few things she might like to have when one coat in particular catches her eyes.

It's not something she usually wears, but it's a kind of style she never really saw much back in her world... how the hood and the ends of the sleeves were so fluffy.

It remains in her arms for quite a while as she tries to decide what she should do with it.

[ Before the draft means running around and gathering supplies. Where Mikado runs into Izaya is probably in the item store, and it's a bit of disbelief when he first spots the man he hadn't heard from in close to three months now.

It can't be an illusion, though, so he approaches him with a bit of a smile. ]

[ Izaya's inspecting a few items when Mikado comes in and calls his name. The familiar voice puts a rather twisted smile on his face, but it quickly fades into something of a warmer smile as he half turns to see Mikado.

This could be called a bingo; Mikado was just the person Izaya had been looking. Or, one of the one and a half people he'd been looking for.

And the way Mikado called him was a good sign. If it'd been Kanra-san, or Orihara-san, Izaya would have been disappointed. ] Mikado-kun? [ Let's answer Mikado's surprise with "surprise" of his own, delighted surprise. See? This is such an unexpected meeting, Mikado! But he's still happy to see you!

He places the object down and completes that half-turn from before. Ah! sound. ] So, that list wasn't wrong after all.

I may have peeked at it. [ He shrugs. He would have continued talking about that, but... ... "really has been a while"? Hm. Does Mikado mean Luceti time? For him, he'd only spoken to Mikado a few days ago.

He should find out. ] Something like that, yeah. It's taken me a while to settle in, which is why you may not have seen me until now. But that's not too important.
