I have become friends with this guy in my geology class. We text message, mostly about geology stuff, sometimes to make fun of each other. Nothing sexual or intimate. I repeat: NOTHING.

i love text messaging, but i completely understand where you're coming from. people are big fat lazy lame douchebags. i hate how text messaging has replaced real conversations. this girl i used to be really good friends with quit the team and didn't talk to me for months, and then was in a tight spot and ended up really needing a roommate for next year.
so literally after at least a month with ZERO communication she texts me and propositions me to allow her to move in with me, saying: "do you know where you're living next year".
i don't even think she used a question mark, that's how lazy this bitch is.
UGH. i know what you mean. i do think text messages are really fun however, in cases where you actually know the person.
