After more no-fiction-writing months than I care to count, I wrote nearly a whole short story a week ago. Me, a short story. I must have slipped briefly into an alternate universe. Anyway to answer your question, I got back into the swing of things thanks to a deadline set by Marina at Scribblers. But you already know how deadlines help.

After all of the editing I wrote a 10K story very quickly - but since then not so much.
The thing I'm trying to work on has Duffy's Cut I have the chericters and an idea... but not much else yet
