That is kind of what I did, I sat down and wrote a lot of blog posts (well like 5). I've written the intro to the story 3 times now from different POV.

The story touches on something horrable that happend here in the 1830's and it just may be to horrable for me to write about.

Oh compleatly - and I've never been one to write historicals. I'm, as my husband would say, "a little nerved up" about it.

So sorry about the WB! tree_lady October 25 2012, 00:50:31 UTC
I hope the shooting low NaNo works for you! If you find you can only do half that each day, you'll still be ahead by that much! Better than zilch.

After more no-fiction-writing months than I care to count, I wrote nearly a whole short story a week ago. Me, a short story. I must have slipped briefly into an alternate universe. Anyway to answer your question, I got back into the swing of things thanks to a deadline set by Marina at Scribblers. But you already know how deadlines help.

Congrats on the novel & finishing the revision! Remind us of publication day!

publication day should be soon.

After all of the editing I wrote a 10K story very quickly - but since then not so much.

The thing I'm trying to work on has Duffy's Cut I have the chericters and an idea... but not much else yet
