I had to see a hand therapist today as I am developing trigger finger. I had it about 8 years ago and the problem was fixed with surgery. I decided early intervention may help as I really don't want more surgery. Last time it was my left hand but this time it is the middle finger on my right. I'll write more in an email.
Good idea to avoid anything requiring gripping. I found myself gripping too tightly when on some gym machines and had to be careful not to do it. Use a 'fat' pen if you have one and need to write or you can fatten a pen by wrapping something around the grip section.
