I was anti-ereader for a long time. Brandon got one and it got me pondering... I love my books... and I won't stop buying them. But, like I mentioned on FB, the Kindle is MUCH nicer to my hands... so, for me, it's not a replacement but simply a supplement that allows me to read in situations I may have chosen not to otherwise.
There are always lines in books that I really like for one reason or another and I've started highlighting them in the Kindle. It keeps track of them so later when I'm at home and want to share those bits or whatever, it will give me a list of what I've highlighted. It's pretty awesome. I never could keep tabs on that stuff before because I refused to write in my books.
I also like that when I've got wifi that I can quickly define a word instead of going online to dictionary.com it.

i was actually enti-ereader too until i got this one home. i was just going to check it out but it sort of sold me. well, that and my finger splitting thing...
i love that you can highlight and save lines! i somehow have a bunch of accidental clippings and can't seem to find anything online. any ideas?
i think my mom downloaded a dictionary to hers so i don't have to go online at all to look up words. (looking up words with the thing you're reading...so cool!)
