Temple Of Elemental Evil!

Man, I never did get to play that. We played the one before it, the Village of Homlet or whatever.. and then the group broke up. ={

I remember in high school we nicknamed it the "boathouse of elemental evil"
Our DM had us attacked by giant frogs in the very beginning and he mixed up the 75exp with the 12hp and the frogs beat the crap out of us. We were like "what kind of demon frogs are those?"

Good times . . . good times.

Rule #1 of a wise GM.
If you want a god to be invincible . . . never give him stats.
If you give him stats, you can kill him.

of course he was killed once already and resurrected so probably he is what? a 20th level cleric? so like 85hp or so?

That sounds about a little low. 39 lashes with a whip is about 78 hp damage right there. (It was 1d2 damage, right?) Then add in the spear poke to the side and spikes through the hands. Of course he may have used a few cure spells on himself after the whipping.

=] of course, how silly of me.
and maybe the stuff in the sponge was bitter because it was a cure light poss ion. So lets say he had a decent Constitution score and give him about 150hp.
