I was 8 mths old when the Bhopal gas tragedy took place. Born and brought up in a city far away from the gas tragedy. So far away that I could grow up not knowing anything about union carbide or Bhopal other than the Raghu Rai image of a small child , with eyes that had turned milky. I was 3 when Union Carbide happened. My family was upset coz my mom had some relatives in Bhopal. Don't think I understood the magnitude of the problem until much later, in FY BSc. In our FC class a group had presented something on it. Then we saw that documentary at Leningrad Chowk. Makes me wonder if there can be economic measures with which these things can be controlled.

for a film that badly made.. it still stood out for the stories it carried.. i dont knw if capitalism can always answer all the questions and problems it creates
