Pretty Things

*crawls out of hole* *blinks* *rubs eyes*

oh yeah, I have a blog.

So since everyone else has shared their pretty things, I thought I'd do the same.

Starting with the face:

Morning routine: Yes to Carrots cream cleanser ($7, target) and Aveeno Smart Essentials daily nourishing moisturizer SPF 30 ($15, ulta)
This cleanser smells great and feels even better. It's crazy gentle, and I don't like using it at the end of the day because I don't feel clean ENOUGH after using it, but it's great in the morning. The moisturizer smells AMAZING and has one of the highest SPFs of any moisturizer out there, and since I am whiter than white bread and work outside, I need it.

Night routine: Neutrogena naturals facial cleanser ($8, target), LUSH cosmetics Celestial mosturizer ($26, lush.com), and Mary Kay rejuvenating serum +c ($IDK, I stole it from my mother)
I cannot rave enough about LUSH products. I love love love them. All natural, smell amazing, not that expensive. They are the holy trifecta of awesome products.

Makeup:

Maybelline fit me concealer ($5, target, bought for emergency hickey cover-up, works pretty well so kept), Garnier skin renew dark circle roller ($IDK, stolen from mom again), and MAC cosmetics face & body foundation in C1 ($35, MAC)

The MAC foundation is AMAZING. It's the perfect amount of coverage for natural everyday makeup. I know you're balking at the price, but for $35 you get 4 whole ounces (over twice the average amount), which I expect to last me all year considering I use a very small amount and I don't use it everyday.

The cup o' tools. I don't have much to say about this other than the brush in front with the orange handle. It's the new Expert Face Brush from realtechniques, owned by Sam from pixiwoo (who I watch religiously). This brush trumps all other brushes. It's soft as a cloud and only cost me $8 (and ulta is having a bogo sale)

Eyes/brows: too many things to name.
I have a lot of stuff from my mum, who's a Mary Kay consultant, and all my eye makeup seems to looks the same, all neutrals. I rarely wear eye makeup, usually just eyeliner when I do, but I do like to do smoky eyes in natural colors when I go out. So that's that. I'm actually looking for a gel liner to do winged eyeliner(the liquid I have sucks) and an alternative to Urban Decay's Bourbon eyeliner. I want a brown with some gold in it, and bourbon is perfect, but I cannot bring myself to spend $19 on what is essentially a crayon. So if anyone has any suggestions, let me know?

Lips
Okay, I have a problem. I'm addicted to lip colors. I don't even think that's all of my lip products, there's some stuff in my purse I forgot about.

Nails!

That's everything I have.

Burt's Bees lemon butter cuticle cream. I LOVE this stuff! As someone who works in food service and is in and out of dish water and cleaning chemicals all day, my hands get super dry. This stuff keeps my fingers intact. I love it!

Pinks/Reds. The one on the very left is supposed to glow in the dark. I made my sister buy it for me at hot topic because it was $2, and it's super glittery.

Blues/Greens. The green in the middle looks kinda dark in the bottle, but it's quite bright.

Misfit colors. The black one is Smoke and Ashes by China Glaze, and the green glitter in it is sooooo pretty! My only complaint is that it goes in kinda messy. I think I need some polish thinner for it. The orange is Riveting, from the same Hunger Games collection, and HOLY CRAP BEST POLISH EVER.

I think that's just about everything! I hope you all are having a wonderful week!

all the pretty, look what i did :), pretty things, meme, pictures n shit
