Yuck. I've never had an overnight hospital stay before. The worst I've had is an ER visit that took 6 hours because they couldn't figure out what the hell was wrong with me. For this reason, I'm not looking forward to having this child. Blech.
I'm glad they got it done and its healing nicely. My Kaite will feel lots better when this is over and done! This measn most of your illnesses that plauged you through HS will be minimal right? I forget. GL to you Katie dearie!

yeah...i found that the hardest and most unpleasant time in hospitals is when night falls. i don't know what it was...i just got all weird feeling and freaked out. it's not fun. maybe it had something to do with the guy hacking up a lung and barfing every 3 seconds in the room next to mine, or the needles sticking out of my arms and hands or the excess of drugs...but either way, i'm not sad to be home.

but yes, thank you! i'm glad to be feeling better. now that my thyroid is out, the millions of thyroid-related symptoms and complications that i experienced because of grave's disease (including being sick every week) should go away. i can't wait. but thank you, leelee love! *kisses back*

Waaagh, missed your earlier post. Glad to hear you're feeling better!

Having a Franken-neck can only lead to good things later in life. ^_^

(Referencing post #1 - They warned us about the whole "you will be a living anatomical model while you are in the hospital" thing during SOAR. I thought they were joking. I now live in fear. ^_~)

haha. thanks, darling! i agree, my franken-neck is definitely growing on me. the possibilities of things i can now do and say in relation to this scar seem endless...hehe.

agh, yeah, that was kind of disturbing. what's SOAR?

SOAR = Student Orientation and... Registration? Can't remember...

Basically, they sit you in a big room with something like 1/35 of the incoming class and say, "Welcome to Madison, blah blah blah we own you body, mind, and soul for the next four years blah blah doom blah gloom blah go sign up for classes now." And they steal your parents somewhere in there, so any choices you make concerning Your Future are completely and irrevocably Your Own Fault, because you are a Responsible Adult now.
