Just been to Beng Hiang Restaurant last Sunday to celebrate my mum's birthday. Beng Hiang is touted as one of the best Hokkien restaurant in Singapore, and is, of course, quite famous among the hokkien clans.

Hey, I've been here before. Had a couple of lunches here. Food is not bad and as you said, some of their signatured dishes are worth a try.

I think the standard of food there is better during lunch. It is so crowded (and bloody noisy) in the evening that the standard will inevitably drop during dinner time.
