Wow, I love this, such a perfect sad depiction of both of them. And I was just absolutely entranced with the detail of John pressing coins carefully onto the counter.

Interesting portrait of a guy on the edge, with Fraser as the deus ex machina to save him. Two cities across Canada, and the eternal question, "How can I help?" I was reminded a bit of my vid, Fallen Leaves.

Okay, so you already know how much I love this, but I just want to say it again: this is amazing and so true to BOTH of them, but I'm especially enamored with how well and how delicately you handle John. He's such a complex character and you NAIL him here to the point where it's painful and beautiful.

This whole thing is such a great piece, Leah. Really.

Oh wow, absolutely great crossover! I love John's pain, the hard reality of his life, his addiction. Then Fraser with his goodness and sincerity, just doing something such a small thing to help someone.
