This was completely astounding! Canon and fandom just clicked, perfectly! I'm in the middle of finals, so I had to print it out and read it on the go, but that resulted in a friend of mine (who's not even all that familiar with the film) reading it. It made her cry!

This is perfect. There's no other word for it. I am so glad I found this (I had absolutely no idea there was a fandom out there). My friend sent me the rec on accident but I am so glad she did. By chance, I caught the end half of the movie yesterday, and caught the whole thing today, and all I can think is that this fic is canon. It melds so well with what's in the movie, and your writing style is amazing, and you captured each character brilliantly, and it was hot and, just, damn does this work.

So yeah. This is just me professing my undying love for you, your style, this fic, and Mace/Capa (which you introduced to me and have totally made me fall in love with). Thank you for writing and sharing this. ♥
