Great to hear that about Mish-Misha, as it were. Did you all suddenly turn Japanese in the short time you spent together? Though the cash factor would have been enticing, I have to say I'm a coward and would take Seattle and its bleach-blonde bimbos and himbos over that place any day.
So glad (so sad?) you're finally starting to burn out at Tully's. I thought I could hack SBC back in the day, but I was hurtin' by the sixth month. What is it? The location? The corporate atmosphere? The fact that you're always being advised to "step up"? I would have taken ANY clerical job over that milarkey and still would. That said, I'm salivating to work at the school, even though the starting pay doesn't top what I've been doing now by much

C'est dommage mais je serai pas ici lors le week-end Labor Day, et j'ai des reunions de travail mardi et mercredi soir. Je crois que je devrai travailler tous les jours en plus. Peut-etre jeudi soir on pourrait se revoir, mais je pense qu'il est souhaitable attendre a plus tard. Ma soeur habite a Bellingham, donc s'il arrive que je lui rendrai visite, je te rendrai visite aussi peut-etre
