Yeah, it goes without saying. We two are waaaay too familiar with French red tape. There are updates, however... my "tuteur" just emailed me and she sounds very nice. Her name is Anne-Laure and apparently, she's married to someone named Olivier (surprise?). Most of the teachers at my school (Lycee Georges Brassens) live in St. Etienne because Rive-de-Gier is so uniformly desolate. The lycee itself, somehow, just got renovated. We'll see... long story short, I'm going, and I'm stoked. Not as "stoked" as I was at the beginning of "France Part I", obviously; it was my first time in France and well, you know the drill. Now, I'm just like, yeah, I know youse. I know yo' system. I think you're fabulous. And you know it.
Where do you work? I would love it if you came and visited (in that order, haha)!!!! We could tear up ... um... Saint-Etienne! Did you apply for renewal, or did you know another year in your academie just wasn't for you?
