hawk flew super close to my car yesterday. i think it was a hawk, may have been a gyrfalcon or a merlin.
today was a red-tailed hawk.
and i saw a stag running down the hill by the house but i swear, if i didn't know better, i would have said it was a moose. i'm still not convinced.

since the big book edit is done, after 8 full of dys of constant editing or thinking about editing, today is: books (just picked up a bunch and got a bunch in the mail weee!), movies, comics. coffee. fire in the hearth. a little exercise. laundry and cleaning out the jeep.
oh, and possible 15 cm of snow.

another headache? seriously? i just don't think so. took only one tylenol as a compromise between not wanting to take anything at all and not wanting this to go on for a moment longer. but i already had 2 yesterday, 2 the day before and a whole bunch 2 weeks ago when i hurt myself. the pharmacist said it's not how long you take it but how much... took out a total of 20 000 words. (!)
now must make the ending pop.

have had some noodles in broth and tea and now am finally feeling good enough to get to work, so here i go.
eiditing word count is going backward, instead of words written, this particular edit is words taken out: around 5000 on wendesday and 5000 yesterday. on the last third now, probably about the same though i will be putting some scenes in as

migraines suck.
really glad this one's finally going away.
