There's Civilization IV... I thought it was boring shit, then I started playing it, and now it's addictive shit that's still sort of boring while I'm twiddling my thumbs waiting on my opponent. You explore and build, explore and build, and it's entirely possible to win without fighting, which I like.

Not really city-building a la Sim City, but... well, civilization-building.

And then you download Fall From Heaven and you never play Vanilla Civ IV again... apparently, that's a common result of the mod. I personally will attest to its effects.

Hello.
hey kidburn, I just ran into the same problem. Try running a deep analysis (File -> Deep Analysis) in DVDShrink. I just did it and it seems to have recalibrated itself. Haven't burnt yet but everything looks normal again.Cheers!
