CNN/Opinion Research Cooperation just released two polls on views on homosexuals and homosexual rights.  Most of the results are what you would expect; the gradual creep of greater tolerance and acceptance of that fact that sexual orientation is determined at birth and can not be changed.

It's particularly awful when key posts (like American translators who speak Arabic) are not filled or people are REMOVED from those positions because of their sexual orientation. People who are willing to serve should be screened for criminal and psychological issues not sexual orientation!

I was very shocked to read that only 16% of military service members identify themselves as democrats. I knew it would be low, but I didn't expect it to be that low!
