It is a known fact that there is a decline in active membership in fraternal organizations (i.e American Legion, VFW, Lions, etc)not only in this country but in other countries

Recieved a request for membership at my home town's local American Legion...what made it weird was the timing...It came in a Valentine's Day card.

As for your idea, so you are saying that the japanese that regularly use the bath houses in japan are now in the US trying desperately to find one...hmmm, I smell a money maker. ;)

I am not saying that Japanese in this country are trying to find a bath house
I am saying as a means to get more ACTIVE members in the American Legion (or unions or other fraternal organizations) let us install a japanese style bath house.
Who here does not like sitting in a hot tub relaxing.
It could be a nice way to get people to go to these organizations, mingle, develope a sense of comrandity, etc.
And of course, making money off the side is always good and fun.
(I might be a left winger, but i am no commie...i like money)
And if nudity is a problem in the hot tub, we could always make it co-ed, and have people required to wear some sort of bathing/swim suit.

Heheheh, Reminds me of one of the days I spent with my father when he worked as a desk clerk at a hotel. I had to go out and tell a group of people that were a quite snockered that they couldn't be in the pool after hours, especially after the bubble tarp had been placed over it. Their response; "I thought this water was a little hard." I wish I had pictures...

well, that is the idea, however for those that are very modest, an appropriate bath/swim suit can be used in the hot tub.
