Years ago I was a young, terrified lesbian new to the area.  Among other challenges, I had to get my yearly exams and I had no idea how to get a gynecologist and know it would be a woman doctor.  Did I mention I was poor?  I was a poor, young, terrified lesbian new to the area and I had no idea where to go.
