if they make you uncomfortable then you should buy the annotated version which i am currently reading because the cover just says lolita and it is like lined notebook paper and whatnot.

oh my goodness that last book cover just made me giggle. I sort of looked at the pictures before I read what you wrote and I just started cracking up.... *sigh*. I am glad you spent so much time analyzing something clearly this amusing.:-)
