Work has been okay so far. I haven't gotten another chance to ride in that jeep, or even go underground for that matter, but it's going okay never the less. It is a bit boring though. All I did last week was read over the last Co-op guy's report and go through his data. It's not exactly captivating reading. Luckily I've had a few random Excel files ( Read more... )

I think I'm finding it the other way round. With the exception of the 200th episode, SG-1 has mostly been below-par this season. I always liked it more than Atlantis, but now Atlantis is probably a bit better (but not quite as good as SG-1 at its best).

Really? I've enjoyed the Altantis episodes so far this season -- I think the one with the Ancient Replicators was the best -- but overall, I've found the Ori storyline to be more entertaining than what is going on with the Wraith.

They've had too much Earth-based stuff, I think. The Ori have only been in two episodes so far.

The problem is that the Ori are too powerful. They can't just stroll through the gate anymore, because they're getting their asses kicked.

Yeah, I guess they have been on Earth a lot lately on SG-1, but I haven't really minded. I often find myself laughing at the dialogue going on between the characters, which is one of the main reasons that I enjoy Stargate so much. I find Vala to be particularly amusing, and the other characters often have a few funny things to say every episode as well.

Whereas on Atlantis, not all of the characters are funny. McKay Sheppard, and Beckett usually make me laugh, but the other characters, although likable, are not really very funny.

So basically, SG-1 has a bit of an edge in the funny department, and like I said earlier, I find the Ori to be more interesting than the Wraith (even if Ori are too powerful).
