I haven't posted in awhile, haven't done a lot of commenting either- must be the season. With fall just about here, Jordan back in school, Scott's swing shift hours I should be around more often. I can sum up the recent events easily enough

Good luck to Jordan in M.s. D.J. is in 7th grade, and believe me thier testorone goes crazy in the next 3 yrs. so be prepared. And good luck to Scott as well. Congrats on the smoke free months!!

Sounds pretty good, overall. Cannot f'in' believe that you don't get top pick your own instrument in band class, though. I mean, OK, you're making sure that not everyone picks the same thing, but hey, you just say "too late, we have enough drummers". Picked for you, BAH.
