I think management is so trained to be politically correct that they aren't allowed to show surprise for fear of offending someone.

The problem is the economy and the uncertainty of healthcare because of the new healthcare bill. Hospitals are cutting back, and older nurses who would have retired are keeping their jobs, because they are afraid they won't have enough money to live on.

She will find something. It will just take a little longer.

LOL. That sounds like something I'd do :)

I remember when I worked for Target head office there was a stage I went around and swapped everyone's names that were velcoed to their respective cubicles. I was a causal who did each persons job as required and tho I worked there every day, I didn't have a particular "spot", I would help whoever needed it, so I didn't have my name there. I liked to see how long it took them to notice ;) It was one of the most fun places I have worked :)

Bojoette has been at Target five years. She loves her co-workers, and she has a great supervisor now. They are far more relaxed than some companies.

Hahahahahaha! It pays to have a sense of humor when dealing with the public...or management.

Hope she finds a nursing position soon. Are there any prospects?

Management is so trained to be politically correct that they've stifled any sense of surprise in order not to offend anyone. He probably thinks her name is T-Rex!

So far, no one is hiring.

She'll certainly be brightening the place up, but I do hope she gets a staff-nurse (or your equivalent) post soon.

Thank you. With the economy being poor and healthcare changes looming, hospitals are being cautious and nurses who could retire, aren't. She will find something, I'm sure.
