i got the apartment! i just found out today as i was about to leave work. i danced in the front entrance of the office. walked home smiling like a lunatic. i sign the lease saturday. they're even gonna hold it for me til may, which is amazing. as much as i'd love to move in 2 weeks, this means another month with no rent so i can stockpile some of

Who is B? Where is your new apartment? Will you not be visiting this weekend, nay, this month, given your impending move? Congratulations. It can be daunting to start the home-making process all over again, but you really are tremendous at it and we are sure we will visit and envy and enjoy.

yes, it does mean that i won't be coming for a visit in the near-near future. i hadn't said anything yet because i was still trying to work out the figurings that would allow me to come. but alas...
however, i've decided i'm going to take some vacation time in may (yay spring!) and was thinking maybe of heading down then? (if you'll have me, of course, and if it would fit into your lives and doings and goings-on). or... you two could come here if you had the time, and the desire, and i could send you travel tickets as a birthday gift to me...
the apartment is at the corner of bank and rosebery in the glebe (above that little art gallery and olga's restaurant/cafe thingy) and it's little and cozy and lovely. i would love love love for you to come and visit and enjoy. anytime after may first, you're always welcome.
B is someone i'm enjoying at the moment. if it continues as it is, i will explain another time. too too much splaining required for a venue such as this.
