I'm working on a paper for my cross-cultural class and it's not going well. It's supposed to be on cross-cultural ethics, with particular emphasis on First Nations culture/tourism. So far the paper is a five page (double spaced) rant about the evils of tourism in developing nations and I'm not really sure where I'm going with it. I have an outline

I've had Chemical City for a while now... I like it a lot. Sam's style of music is something I can really get into.

Same goes for the Killers. I just picked up Sam's Town today (technically, it was your birthday present to me, so thank you!) and so far I like it too. It doesn't have as many songs that just jump out and grab you as Hot Fuss had though... it is more subtle, I think. Although, this all comes from one listening in the car with the speaker balance adjusted... I'll have to give it a listen when Hunter's hearing isn't a factor!

Also... Jakalope has a new album out called Born 4. I'm going to get it (and possibly the new Evanescence) next week.

I'm not sure how good the Jakalope CD is going to be. I heard the new song on 95.3 and it sounded pretty pop-like to me. I hope she hasn't sold out.
