There's just one thing...

...I don't like about 'Alejandro'. It's Gaga's androgynous and skinny look. The conceptual side is really admirable but my taste doesn't agree with the visual side. I feel neutral for similar reasons. I understand that it's supposed to be a powerful video, but it never really got anywhere? Maybe it went over my head or something. All of her other videos seem to have a plot or like sequential scenes; this video just like felt like imagery thrown everywhere. To be honest I didn't really get it. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the video is just okay. Even my friends who aren't Gaga lovers at all say the video is super cool. Well, maybe we're asking for too much. Looks like she decided to go different direction this time and use all these concepts and symbols instead of a solid plot. But I'd vote for another director at least, Akerlund perhaps. To turn the video into short and insane film as it deserves. And I have to add she's rather brave because not many people would think about all her messages in the video. Upside down cross on the pants? How many people aren't really offended by this and can see any message? But again, it could be so much more if there was a solid plot or at least better director. And her skinny ass doesn't do her any justice
