[It's your trusted Straw Hat night time transmission once again. Some of you might already be asleep, while others could be getting ready for some rest. But for those of you that are awake, you're not alone. In Marshall 114, there is a reindeer wide-awake with his captain. Both are pretty upset. One possibly more-so than the other. Why

... We can go look for him, if you'd like. Knowing him, if he got turned around there's no telling where he might have ended up.

[It takes him a while to respond, because he's looking at Luffy, and looking at the front door. He wants to start looking right now. Go outside and search every inch of the city until the sun rises again.
But none of them can do that, because Zoro's not here anymore.]
...Umi. Do you think that, since he gets lost so often, his... frequency could get lost?

[It wouldn't help. She knows that. It's happened often enough that she's figured out how to recognize it...but she'll never get used to it. Will anyone?]
I-- [...No. She doesn't. But it's not like she can say that to him.] You never know...right?

But the last thing he's going to do is go check. He's telling himself it's because he doesn't want to leave Chopper alone here--fter all, he never minds if Chopper cries on him and gets his arms all covered in snot and tears--but he might just be delaying the inevitable. If Zoro really is gone, they would know by the time they couldn't find him anywhere.

He has. It's not there. It hasn't been there for a while, but it's Zoro. He gets himself into just as much trouble as the others do, almost as much as Luffy. It just seemed way too convenient for something to have happened to his communicator to prevent his remaining crew mates from keeping an eye on him.
Chopper jumps off the couch, turning toward Luffy with a determined face, but it's gone immediately and he's just... worried and scared. And trying so hard not to cry. He won't cry. He told Sanji he wouldn't. Chopper won't cry.]
M-maybe... if we look for him... Luffy? He's still here, right? Zoro is still here. We just have to look.

It was hard enough losing Sanji and Franky and Robin, and Ace and Chopper and Zoro those first times... but...
Maybe some of them would come back. Maybe Zoro wasn't even gone. This false optimism kicked in before, maybe it will help now.
Luffy takes a breath, trying to pull back the frown.]
Yeah... maybe he fell asleep somewhere. Or... or maybe he got lost.

Then lets go look for him! It's not that late, and I'll be with you, so I'll make sure you don't get chased by a cow again! We should go right now!
[He grabs hold of your hand and tugs, hoping you just go along with everything he says. Stay stubborn just like he is right now. They can't stay in this apartment that just got a little quieter one more time. One less person. One less family member.]

[She already checked his frequency, but...] I'll search around.
