Although from what I can tell, it's too many people to just be the weather. Hey doctor, you know of anything that causes a cough and nightmares?

I'll be okay, but... I've never really heard of anything that causes both of those symptoms. Fatigue or stress could lead to difficulty sleeping and possible bad dreams, and since that could easily make a person's condition worse then something like a cold could develop.

Hm. I guess it could still be a coincidence then, but it's a lot of people for just being worn down all at once.

[There a brief flash of chilling fear on Chopper's face, because he knows what happens in situations like that.]

[The panicked sounds wake Sanji, who was sleeping in the room next door. He leaps to his feet, rushing into the next room.]

Oi! Chopper! Calm down! [He quietly looks the reindeer over.]

...You okay, buddy?

[Action] that tends to be the case very often. :|;;

[Chopper stops right as he's about to head toward the front door, hesitating before turning around and trying his best to give a perfectly reassuring smile. Of course, considering he hasn't been sleeping well at all for the past week or so, these new events aren't making his already bad condition any better. He looks downright ragged and tired, and the smile is obviously forced.]

Y-Yeah, I'm okay! I just, want to go outside for a little while! Nothing's wrong, really!

[Action]

[Nice try, Chopper, but Sanji knows better.]

You look like death. You're not going anywhere.

[He steps over to him and blocks the door.]

Go get some rest, I'll make you some stew for dinner. It'll warm you right up.

['Death'. The word makes Chopper's fur stand on end and he pulls his hat over his eyes to block out the faint memory of what he'd seen while he was asleep. Everyone was there, then smoke, and suddenly they were gone.

Chopper doesn't say anything as he just shakes his head.]
