Lycaon is quite wonderful. Although, I've not paid them enough attention due to my latest obsession with underground Korean rap music ^^; I hope you enjoyed the 吉田兄弟 album! Their style is so creative and refreshing. I thought it'd be interesting to include something other than the usual visual rock/metal bands. P∞L are so eccentric that I was a little turned off from their music, but they really grew on me fast and before I knew it, I was completely in love. It was so unexpected *_

I've been completely obsessed with Korean underground rap music these past few months~ There are so many good artists with wonderfully profound lyrics. I adore rap that is concerned with socio-political issues, the kind that goes back to the "roots" of the artistic movement. It makes me happy to see that it exists and hasn't been overtaken by all the bling bling commercialized hip-pop. I highly recommend groups like TBNY (Topbob and Yankie, who are featured in quite a bit of EPIK HIGH's discography), I.F. (Infinite Flow), and Dynamic Duo. You might also like Junggigo, who is an r&b/soul singer that collaborates with many of the great underground rappers. I think I.F.'s music is most like EPIK HIGH's in terms of message and sound - one of my favourite songs in their discography is Rain Bow, the lyrics just about made me cry.

I love Hizumi too~ Although I think Juri and Taka have officially jumped onto my list of top 5 favourite vocalists and kicked a lot of others out of their spots ^^; I think I'm always going to mourn 螢's decision

He does have a fantastic voice. I hear the Tora, and as for the missing link, well...I hear a little of Ryuichi Ishiyama, or maybe a lot of him, lol. A tiny bit of old Gackt, before he apparently took lessons on how to wreck his voice, and finally maybe some Kyo. D'ERLANGER Kyo, hah.

Ah yeah, I notice a bit of similarity to Gackt in certain notes. Although saying that feels like a bit of an insult to NФA. I think I hear a bit of LAER as well (from Garret/Dark Schneider).
