Yesterday, February 12th, was a very important day in terms of history. It was the 200th year celebration of the birth of two individuals that have, in their lifetime, changed the socio-political and scientific climate of their society. I'm happy that you could learn a little bit from this long and rambling essay. As you can see, I got somewhat carried away -____-; I am just so awed by Darwin's mind (he traveled to the Galapagos islands when he was not much older than 20, and it was there that he formulated his theory as well as recorded mountains of evidence to support his thinking. He spent close to 30 years brewing over the implications of his research before finally having the courage to publish it.), so I can't help but be overly passionate about his work ( ... )
