hello~ ^^
You wrote so much! It looks like all this stuff was awesome! (although I kinda know already cause I was text stalking you the whole weekend XD). I wanna go to that museaum now, it looks so interesting, especially with the pictures! Actually, the book, "flags of our fathers" is by the same author as a book i am using for a research project in us history on US-Japan relations under Theodore Roosevelt. The book is called "The Imperial Cruise". It is about the Great White Fleet. I would really recommend it! :)

LEANA! <3

LOL I loved your text stalking, and next time we should go together! Ahh, you're right! James Bradley has written a handful of books - I haven't read The Imperial Cruise, but I have read Flyboys and that's a really good one too! Thanks so much for the recommendation; I'm definitely going to check it out (and good luck with your project)! :D

Can't wait for us to hang out! Thanks so much reading! YOU ARE AWESOME.

Yes, I definitely recommend Flags of Our Fathers for sure; it actually makes having watched Letters from Iwo Jima really fit into place and contrasts the two cultures that are involved in one conflict. It puts the Battle of Iwo Jima into perspective and adds that personal touch that makes you feel connected to history ( ... )

I would love to go to these places with Illy!! :D And yes -- I definitely recommend watching both of them in one go or in succession...it definitely enriches the whole picture and immerses you with the personal stories associated with the battle and war.

I did have a good weekend! This entry totally turned into a history essay in the middle...but I do like history a lot after all! I will talk to you soon; Illy is too nice to me for reading! <3
