When just thinking about them makes you happy. When you can't stop thinking about them and you want to be with them forever and never ever lose them. When you'd do anything to make them happy.

Hard to say for sure, really. I doubt it's the same for any two people.

But if you ask me, being in love with someone means you'd do anything to be with them. Go through hell and back, kill anyone that stands in your way, and whatever else you need to do to stay with them.
