IN CHARACTER: Jesse's life right now is kind of awesome. Yes, he's stuck in camp, which means he can't move on to college or go on to bigger and brighter things and advance his career. However, he's choosing to see camp as an opportunity to hone his skills and learn things from other worlds that he can then use to his advantage when he goes home! He's also starting to be more balanced and is falling back into a groove again. He has a girlfriend, whom he loves dearly, and he ... has a best friend / "brofriend" that he has feelings for and that's kind of weird when he thinks too hard about it, so he's choosing not to. Whatever.
OUT OF CHARACTER: . . . STILL LOVE JESSE. Winter killed me in the face in terms of playing, but he's still very easy for me, particularly now. He's still growing! He's now in a, er, unique sort of relationship, and he's a bit curious about it, a bit awkward about it, but mostly satisfied on that front. It's different. He enjoys it. He also has this potential to make a wide range of CR which is awesome and also the reason Jesse is usually my go-to. Plus, there is the potential for ~stuff~ in the future, and that's just awesome.

IN CHARACTER: Holy crap, a ton of people from the Battlefront are here! We still haven't moved on yet! What is this! Iwasawa is just sort of tilting her head to the side at things and moving along. Camp is just another limbo for her and she knows that, eventually, she will move on. She's cool with that.
OUT OF CHARACTER: derp derp. :B I love her character, but I never feel compelled to play her. She's very low key, so I either lose interest in her threads fast, or I feel bad because the other person is dealing with one-liners or dots. She also has this slight musician overlap with Jesse which, while on the surface isn't problematic, actually kind of is since I'm more inclined to throw Jesse at musicians and then make CR et all. I keep hemming and hawwing and going back and forth with her, and will prrrrobably decide in a month or so if I'm going to hang onto her. But if I don't pick up my playing soon, I'd rather drop her so someone else could app her, because this cast is awesome and really deserves an active castmate.

OUT OF CHARACTER: SO. Writing his app was like pulling teeth, and that probably should have been a sign. I love Jeff as a character, but he really isn't clicking for me in the game. I mean. I have moebot as the Dean and the amazing bethecoolkid for a counselee, and I still don't feel motivated to play him. Not even catching up on the show has really helped. Unless something turns around between now and the activity check, he's as good as dropped. COUNSELEES, Biz is helping me with my failure and will happily take you guys on with Neuro if you'd like. Massive apologies, I am just completely not feeling it with this character. Alternatively, I will happily do more counseling threads with Snake. :(d

IN CHARACTER: Another prison! How curious. Snake is okay, though, as long as Clover is here. He feels slightly guilty about the fact that she spent a good couple weeks here before he came, but he also realizes that there's not much he could do about that. The carnival stuff is intriguing to him, and he's interested in learning more about the book he found. And stuff.
OUT OF CHARACTER: I don't really feel compelled to play him that much, but I think that'll go away once I sort things out with Jeff and Iwasawa. He's my type, and he doesn't really have any overlap with Jesse which, uh, helps. His voice is pretty easy for me, too. I need to do another playthrough of his canon once I sort out line-up stuff. I think that'll help!

My mojo is here and there! It's definitely back with Jesse, and I think I can get it back with Snake. My (quasi) hiatus is officially over and I'm finally feeling good again, which really helps. I'm pretty sure I'll be dropping Jeff by the activity check, and I have a strong feeling that Iwasawa's time is coming up soon as well unless I really kick it up with her.
I am also playing the fun game of "how long will it take for Jesse to hit 20k." Spoilers: he's less than a thousand comments away. I can totally do this by his year mark. CAN I DO IT BY APRIL . . .
For Snake's campers - I'm just going to toss up a post in his journal (psychosiscon) tomorrow for counseling that we can all then pick at at our leisure.
