[after DRAMA and more drama ensues, Jesse St. James darts out of the studio quickly, bag in tow. after eying the general area for a few seconds, he heads off towards the pond, shoving his hands in his pockets.]

I needed a change of scenery in order to find inspiration for my music. The pond seemed like a logical choice.

[bethejune]

Oh yeah, it's a great place. It's pretty quiet most of the time. Are you working on anything in particular?

[boldstarring]

Does it particularly matter? A musician should always be honing his craft, regardless of where he may be.

[bethejune]

[shrugs]

Nah, it's not important. I was just curiuos.

[boldstarring]

[clipped, as he sits down near the edge of the pond, setting his bag to the side.]

Whatever. Consider yourself more informed.

[bethejune]

. . .Are you okay?

[boldstarring]

[narrows his eyes for a moment, looking extremely annoyed, before-]

[boldstarring]

[- showface, pleasant tone. perhaps a bit too pleasant.]

I'm perfectly fine. This is a welcome break from the monotony of the studio, and one that will no doubt stir a great amount of inspiration within me. Even the pond looks less putrid this afternoon, which is an excellent surprise.

[glances over at the pond contemplatively]

It does look a little less slimy.

[boldstarring]

You could almost go for a swim.

[bethejune]

Yeah, but wouldn't it be too cold?

[boldstarring]

I'll give you five bucks if you take a dip.

[bethejune]

What do you take me for? It'd take more than five bucks to convince me to step into water that's probably still freezing.
