Jesse on Lightning?

... And Santana, but I don't think there's anything new there. :x

He actually doesn't hate Santana as much now that he's talked with Finn and Finn hasn't done anything super dumb because of her. She's more of a "whatever" thing, but she's still on his list because of how she treated Rachel. But we've talked about this in PM and blahdeblah. I do think there's some semblence of hope for them forming a relationship in the future!

Lightning! Lightning is interesting. Jesse's not quite sure what to make of her, so he's slowly trying to feel her out and get to know her and what she's all about. Her ":|"-ness is a bit funny, and he did catch that she backed off when he told her not to make assumptions about him. It was an interesting reaction! In the end, interesting people hold Jesse's attention. Also, she's trying to learn things about youtube, and there is something hilarious about that in Jesse's mind. It's obvious that there's more going on underneath with her, and his curiosity has been piqued.

Lightning on Jesse?

Lightning's way of perceiving Jesse runs deep. In Cocoon, it is possible for someone to have a completely normal life. But she never got to have it. Instead, she had to become a soldier at a young age in order to provide for her and Serah and Serah was meant to go on to university and all that normal stuff. From Light's perspective, she KNOWS about music and knows about normal things that I assume Cocoon has; she just hasn't experienced a lot of it herself. There's a point in the novels where she kind of refers to people's clothing as new-fangled, as if she's a lot older than the people around her. ... And she's just twenty-one.

So in a way, Jesse represents "normal" for her, and what she signed up to protect, but she never had a chance to really pause and get to know those people. By time Serah became what she did, Fang barely knew her, and was seeking a way to change that

... I really want them to remember "Dream On" and the fact that he's a kid who shows a lot more when he's away from his team, and that he's been in college for at least seven months now. I don't think they can really wrap things up with him in three episodes, given all that they've got going on, but I'd like to see him actually work with New Directions! I am sincerely hoping that the talk of his intentions not being nefarious are true. Mostly, it's like what I told Sian yesterday - as long as he is not doing the spy thing and intentionally being a giant dickwad and as long as they don't do anything collosally stupid with him a la Egg-gate '10, I will be satisfied. With that said, it would have to be a super amazing and super consistent stint for me to even consider updating.

HOW WE DOIN' JESSE

Uhhhh, better than November, but it's still not sunshine and rainbows. He basically forgave Parker for the Finncident, which put them back at square one in his mind. He always feels like he's on strange ground with her! She'll do something that touches him, like the money thing at Christmas so he wouldn't miss out on his parents' Christmas check. And then, she'll do something that annoys him. It's this tentative friendly relationship, although Jesse doesn't exactly trust her and doesn't feel too keen on doing so in the near future.

Parker is just... being Parker at him! She's a little more preoccupied with whether he'll get mad at her but otherwise she's just DOIN HER THING. There isn't... really anything in particular that draws her toward Jesse; I really think the draw of staying on good terms with him is to... be on good terms with someone and have someone not mad at her, if that makes sense. She likes Jesse! She doesn't really get why he's so into music or why he gets so annoyed at her for doing stupid things 8') but idk. YES. I'M REPEATING MYSELF A LOT. She seeks approval!!

Who of mine (parker, anya, dairine and rory) would thread well with your other characters?

Relationship update for Jesse and Vanya? Or first impression for Chris, though it's only be one thread.

Vanya is someone Jesse simultaneously likes and is frustrated by. He's leery about pushing her too hard - he's been performing for ages, he gets that being too forceful isn't productive and other measures have to be taken - but at the same time, it's not in his nature to hold back. That's not who he is! So with stuff like the singing and whatnot, he's trying to push her to practice more before coming to him because he knows he will be harsh. He's still learning how to actually be friends with people, and he's a performer first and foremost

Vanya pretty much adores Jesse at this point. She sees him as so talented and awesome with all of these friends and a whole club, and most of the time she really can't imagine why he'd not only put up with her, but want to help her and talk to her. It confuses her! But as long as he doesn't actively push her away, she's decided to keep going to him for help because she likes talking to him. Vanya's also absolutely terrified of disappointing Jesse. Disappointing people is one of Vanya's constant worries, but disappointing Jesse would be a million times worse than disappointing most people. She's determined not to let that happen, even if it means pushing herself more than she usually would

Typically! Jesse gets up fairly early - the exception is if he stayed in the studio late the night before, but generally speaking, he gets maybe five to six hours of sleep per night. This is above average for him. He works out a bit. Nothing major, he's not an athlete like Finn or Sam, but he likes to stay in shape, so he'll take a jog or something, usually, and end up at the mess hall for breakfast.

The rest of his day sort of depends on what he has planned, but he always tries to cram a good hour or two of practice time in the studio in somewhere. Usually, it's after breakfast, after he gets cleaned up, but it can be at any time. He also always spends time with Finn or Rachel every day. Or both, if he's lucky. They aren't all attached at the hip, but they hang a lot. He practices with Rachel and is obnoxiously affectionate with her. With Finn, Jesse will do whatever - usually, it's something ridiculous that they've come up with to stay entertained. Stuff! Stuff.

What drew you to Cinna and made you want to app him?

Do you have any headcanon for Chris besides how he got into comic books? /uncreative

Uhhhh, not much off the top of my head! I tend to come up with it as I play or as questions come up because I am a slacker like that. He either goes to a private school or is home schooled, whichever one leaves him with way too much time on his hands. He knows how to fight in theory and has the potential to be insanely dangerous; right now, it's just general self defense and looking cool and whatnot. There is no way that boy isn't a virgin.

What would happen if we ever actually got a Big Daddy for counselors?

BAD... THINGS...? I shouldn't say that because of course I would love it if somebody decided to app Nic Cage as Adam West as Batman, but it would definitely screw with her development in camp! Most of the adult types she respects in camp are pretty >/ about her dad and so she'd probably just stop talking to them all together. Which would cut into a lot of her relationships as well as take away all the people who are trying to make her not a sociopath.

Does Jesse have any relationshippy thoughts re: Mindy?

I think he said something once about how it was telling that he trusted the opinion of a grade schooler more than camp in general, and that basically sums it up. Jesse respects Mindy to some degree! He doesn't know her that well, he doesn't connect her with Hit-Girl or anything, but he does get that she's far more mature than the average girl her age. She knows stuff! She's smart! And she's kind of hilarious. It's all good.

God, I don't even know. I think there's a lot of characters you could run with, to be honest. Part of me is going "DUSTIN GOOLSBY!!" because I know you'd be hilarious. But, I mean ... anyone. So I'll just say Sandy Ryerson because then you could have amazing playercest with the Dean.

... so how much Jeff Winger memorabilia does the Dean have?

Enough to fill two scrapbooks. One is titled "Jeffrey Winger: Precious Memories" filled with snapshots, polaroids, and grainy pics from the various hidden security cameras all over campus. The other is "Jeffrey Winger Costume Design," which is entirely comprised of the previous shots photoshopped so that Jeff is wearing different outfits (and in some cases, this effect is achieved with paper doll outfits) and sets of animal ears.

The Dean also happens to be writing a Jeff Winger-like character into Time Desk. Geoff Flyer, rogue airplane pilot from the '50s in tight pants, helps Dean Dangerous on his mission to save the world.
