I realized that I have a rather unfortunate app pattern that Glee only piled onto on Tuesday. SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS AND THE CHARACTER FLOUNCES. And then comes back later stronger than ever and potentially on the opposing side. Check out my current line-up:
Edgeworth got suckerpunched in the feelings by Gant and the entireity of 1-5. He ended up leaving the "Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth chooses death" note and ran off to Europe and other places for an entire year before coming back to help with the Matt Engarde case. He was technically opposing Phoenix as the prosecutor, but he was on Phoenix's side.
Heisuke essentially falls into a deep depression after Yamanami dies and ends up leaving the Shinsengumi over it, going off with Itou. Itou's group later fights with the Shinsengumi, and we get this DRAMATIC SHOT of the Heisuke-Shinpachi showdown. ... and then Heisuke turns and stabs a dude for Shinpachi because he's magical. [This is at Aburakoji, which is where Heisuke ultimately ends up getting killed.]
Jesse, who left his super amazing team for Rachel, is crushed and heart-broken after she uses him in a video along with two other guys she's been linked with to boost her (bad) reputation. He literally walks out on Rachel [and he isn't in the promo pictures with New Directions for the upcoming episodes, plus we know that he performs with Vocal Adrenaline at Regionals]. :x
And if we want to be hilarious, Robert sort of falls under this as well since he disappeared off the face of the earth for ten years after being horribly abused and comes back prepared for genocide. He is eventually redeemed.
... so apparently, I like people who are conflicted about their loyalty and make totally awesome decisions.
