It's been a +/- kind of day.

I'm so sorry about Astrid. I'm sure she'll heal quickly. I totally empathize with your feelings. I called my vet so many times when Alexis got fixed that he finally told me to come get her and she was still wet from her bath. I can only imagine how I would be with a human child!

Ah, a dusting short cut. Sadly I don't think it will help me with all my tchatchkes. I do still like my swiffer duster for that reason.

I know I commented on the second post first but just read this too and I want to second the statement of you have every right to be upset and a loved one is not "just" an animal. We all know how important she is, pets have special places in our hearts that go beyond what many people think.
