I feel safe saying this 'cuz I think it was the point of your post in the first place, but...that's such a load! "Your record shows..." just means that somehow they've quantified your knowledge and ability for critical thought and your place on the quantified scale proves that you're good at it. But...how is that even possible? Marks can't show your capacity for critical thought, though this is the fallacy that a university education and grading system seems to be based on.

WOOO. I ranted!! haha. That felt good.

Yes, I laughed for a good 15 minutes when I opened the letter. I wonder who comes up with the text. I find it particularly funny because I've been reflecting recently on the complete annihilation of my "critical thinking skills." *sigh*

If those skills have been going down the drain, my wikipedia researching skills however are in top shape. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater_Toronto_Area I won't comment any further.

Why don't you change the verb tense, and make that an "I will just deny the rightness of Wikipedia"? I'd like to see how the debate would unfold.
