So i love those perfect weekends. You know the ones that start out with in the hospital and end with you losing all 17 days of the music on your computer. Oh ya and also losing a research paper that was almost done that is due in a week. Oh and it gets even better when I have to pay to have the data recovered with money that I don't have.

well... i have all your music... and my music... and i beleive that was at least most of the music you had... so its not completly gone... remember this next time your doing stuff that is known for putting viruses on computers

no it wasn't any virus junk. The HD just stopped working. Like the light just blinks on it but the comp doesn't recognize it.

is it the external hard drive? cuz its probably not totally broken if thats it... have you tried using a different USB port... its supposed to be plugged in in the back cuz the front ports are always USB 1.0 and the back are now USB 2.0 ... i dont know why... but thats just how it is... and chances are if it did "just stop working" it is a result of some sort of malicious coding not it just it dying... if youre online later i can help you out
