It's a lot easier to have your own style than to have to mimic exactly the character isn't it ;)
Pretty good there. Looks like you've mastered drawing. I'm still very much a baby in this regard.
Oh, I did draw him once from memory, but he looked a bit funny so I drew a treat and at least made him go "Mmmm treat" to add to the humor.
Anyway, I've drawn Bolt about 130 times, and still not very consistent in the quality. I've started using shapes like squares and such to get scale. I've got proportion almost down, but now detail in the features is a bit lacking at times. I also draw other things like a pickup or whatever I'm seeing.
I'm exploring Painter X, which has a wonderful Perspective Grid that gives the vanishing point and lines to help draw in perspective. It's a wonderful program. I'm doing the trial, and might buy it later if I can find it at a good price.
