I use Febreze on costumes that I can't clean in between performances, and I give my ballet shoes a spritz after class to keep them from stinking

My respect for the stuff as sincerely gone up since realizing that it's primary useful ingredient is cornstarch--what a marketing scam! I thought the stuff was full of scary high-tech chemicals that would melt my head, but it totally makes sense to use a diluted spray-on solution of cornstarch to absorb odor! Of course...now I just feel like I should make my own...
yeah--I wanted to try some natura deodorants from Lush, but all the reviews report that they hurt to apply. I have one of those crystals--I'm pretty happy with that, and it lasts forever!
I wasn't really serious about using it as deodorant. Although--it contains less weird chemicals than most deodorants...so there isn't really a reason not to, except that you might not want your armpits smelling like fresh laundry! :>

Hrm. I need to explore the other applications of the stuff, clearly.
I've historically only used it on carpets with pet smell, etc.
